Reflecting on resolutions

I’m not one for resolutions. I try to be the best version of myself every day because let’s face it, tomorrow isn’t a guarantee.

While I was out shopping a few days ago, I overheard some young women preparing for their New Year’s Eve night out and it made me smile. I couldn’t help but reflect on how differently we looked at the upcoming holiday. It made me pause and think about what life was like for me back in 1989 when I was 21 years old and how life is for me now at 48 years of age.


Outside of these obvious changes in the way I think, I am committed to continuing to practice the mantras I have found useful in my day to day living.


What I have is what someone else wants

So be grateful for all of it. All of it.

Give more

There is an infinite amount of love in the world and I am blessed with a massive capacity to love. Eventually, I believe, this love will outweigh the hate. I believe it.

Roses are red and so are these potatoes

My mother is the greatest cook in the world. I don’t mean that in the way that people say it because they want their mother to keep feeding them. No, I mean it and it’s true.

I’ve traveled up and down India from the North to the South and I’ve had some AMAZING meals but no one on earth cooks quite like my mother. She has a way of putting things together that makes flavours pop and like a real chef who is true to the taste, she never compromises on ingredients.

A few years back I took it upon myself to wrestle the recipes out of her. She flatly told me, “If you want to learn how to cook, then just cook.”

A few years after that I sat down with her and watched her cook. I took out my handy recipe log book, started writing down ingredients and dutifully watched her as she cobbled something together.

“Momma, how much of that did you put in?”

“I don’t know.”

“Would you say it’s a teaspoon?”

“How the heck would I know? Just do it.”

“What is that?”

“Lassan.” (garlic)

“You put that in before. Are you putting it in again?”


“Why? How do you know you need more? You didn’t taste it.”

“I just know.”


And just like that, I figured my dream of cooking like my mother was over. I can’t look at a pot of simmering oil and ‘just know’ if it needs more of this or that. So I gave up.

Then, this last year, I started cooking more at home than ever before. I made a friend of mine some of my mother’s potatoes and she went crazy over them.

“Can you give me the recipe?” she asked.

“Uh…I didn’t measure anything when I made it.”

“Then how do you know what to put in?”

“I just know.”

There it was. Just like that, I had turned into my mother.

Now I’m shadowing her like a crazed woman trying to permanently capture her essence and hopefully pass along some of her insanely good cooking to the masses while also mentally noting exactly how much of this or that I put into things. I’m still by ALL means a novice at cooking so if you are looking for professional recipes that are tried and true, you’ve come to the wrong place. If you want to go on an Indian/Fusion cooking adventure, then strap it on (I had to say that), cause we’re about to go full masala-mental up in here!

In the vein of keeping it simple dimple desi, my first recipe is for Lal Badadas, or “Red Potatoes”. I use store bought chutneys to enhance the flavour cause I ain’t got time to be squishing out tamarind into a sauce and quite frankly, I’ve done it before and the feeling is oddly disturbing. I’m not sure why 🙂


Start by boiling your potatoes. Then, after they have cooled, remove the skin and cut into small pieces (not too small, as my Momma says, because then they’ll crumble and you’ll have Lal Mush).

Heat oil in pan. Add minced ginger and garlic. Heat it up till it smells absolutely fragrant in your kitchen. The scent will linger in the air, attach itself to your clothes and become something you appreciate as an adult.

Then add half a small can of tomato paste. My blob of paste ended up looking suspiciously like an Angry Bird. Not sure why…

Be sure to brown the tomato paste. You’re cooking away the tomato sweetness and infusing it with the garlic and ginger. Then add your dried spices (see below for full recipe).

Looks yummy, right?? Then stir it until it turns into a nice ‘gravy’.

Then add those boiled potatoes into the pan, stirring them GENTLY, over and under the sauce.

You can’t tell, but I’m being really gentle with those potatoes (while stopping to take a picture of course).

Once you have them all coated, then let the sauce infuse itself into the potatoes (about five minutes).

After about five minutes of stirring GENTLY every now and again, add your Tamarind Chutney and Date Chutney. See the cheat bottles below.


At this point, add salt to taste (suggestion below) and let simmer on LOW for about ten minutes. Garnish with coriander when you serve it or else my mother will be upset. Coriander is her world.

BLAM! I’ve made these for more than a few summertime BBQs when not bringing along my trademark samosas. These potatoes are as spicy hot as you want them to be and deliciously flavourful.

I gave some to my mother as the final test of my ability. She smiled and nodded when she said, “Not bad. Not bad at all.”

Then a few minutes later, “But it needs more salt.”



Full recipe:

6 potatoes boiled with skin removed

3 -4 TBSP oil (not olive, use canola or safflower)

2 Tsps minced garlic (store bought, or do it au natural, your choice)

1 1/2 TSPS minced ginger (my mother made mine so I kinda cheated here too)

1 TSP ground coriander powder

3/4 TSP ground cumin

1/4 TSP ground garam masala

2 TSP red chili powder (this is totally optional and dependent upon the heat you or your guests can take – don’t hurt anyone!)

1/2 small can of tomato paste

4 TBSP Tamarind Chutney

4 TBSP Date Chutney

Salt to taste (I never add enough apparently)


To make these potatoes – heat up oil in frying pan on medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, let simmer until the flavour leaks out into the air. You’ll know. Then add dried spices. Simmer and allow them to heat up a bit. Add your tomato paste. Stir it up until the oil begins to separate a bit and the tomato paste darkens slightly. *add a little water here (about 3 TBSPs) to make the curry less thick* Add potatoes. GENTLY stir the sauce over the potatoes. Simmer for about five minutes. Add Tamarind and Date chutneys. Add salt to taste. Simmer for another ten minutes. The oil will have separated and your potatoes should be super yummy! If not, try again. 🙂

Product review: Wicked Wanda’s RAW SEX whipped butter

As part of the Summer of my Samosaseries, I am writing about sex-related topics, delving into areas that others may shy away from and trying new things in an effort to expand people’s minds as well as my own. This week, as part of this series, I am doing a product review for Wicked Wanda’s on their in-house made Real Sex whipped butter.

Lately, as you may know, I’ve been on a better-living-healthy-read-the-labels-and-live-better kick. To that end, I am questioning not only what I put IN my body, but what I put ON my body. And lately, I’ve been wondering, “What exactly is in my body creams and lotions?”

I have to admit that I’m not one for using a lot of ablutions in my everyday living. I am prone to dry skin so I do use body lotions when things get from bad to desert-like crackly. A lot of body lotions tout ‘natural ingredients’ or the addition of body-loving aloe or vitamin E but what else goes into them? Have you really stopped to read the labels? Can you even pronounce some of those ingredients? As a general rule of thumb, if I can’t pronounce it, I denounce it.

Along comes Wicked Wanda’s line of body cremes and cupcake-shaped bath body mousses. The line is made locally by  Wanda Cotie and Marie-Elise L’Esperance  using only pure and ethical ingredients. And I can happily say they are not only animal-cruelty free and chemical-free but also sugar-free (one has some honey in it).


Here’s my review:

Rub a dub dem dogs

The first time I used the body cream was actually when I gave my mother a foot rub. I try to rub her feet every day because a) She’s my mother and I happen to respect and adore her so giving the tired old feet that have done more work in a lifetime than I ever will a massage, is a very small amount of payback and b) She is a diabetic and regular foot stimulation is good for keeping the blood flowing to the smaller veins that over time get damaged and can lead to some serious problems. She loved it! The cream went on easily, wasn’t greasy and left her toes and heels soft.

I also used this to give my partner a foot rub but in his case, the massage inched higher and higher with the goal of getting blood flow to a different area if you know what I mean 😉 (hubba hubba!) And the result in both cases was a happy ending.

Scent-uate your skin

I used the Coconut Butter cream. The scent stayed on my skin for HOURS. That’s even after multiple hand washes. And my skin stayed soft and supple all day. Side note: Because I have called myself a ‘coconut’ – brown on the outside, white on the inside – you can imagine my confusion when I would hear  -“Is there a coconut in here?” or “Do you smell that coconut?” 🙂

The scent lingers on the skin and you stay supple and touchable all day. You will actually smell ‘edible’ if you use the  Chocolate Vanilla cream. Imagine the fun of rubbing the lotion all over yourself and being someone’s post-workout dessert!

Drench your dermis

This body cream goes on like silk. It is has a smooth mousse-like consistency to begin with but it also glides on the flesh like a whisper on your skin. Don’t see the importance of keeping your skin well lubricated and moist every day? Try watching an adult movie with an elderly couple and you will have two thoughts: 1) Damn, there’s no age when the body can’t still ‘get it on’ so good for them and 2) Damn, is that what happens to your skin when you get old?? I better moisturize. Moist and supple skin is a complete turn on, unless sandpaper and flaky flesh does it for you. Not here to judge 😉

Elbowgate – the other kind

I used the cream on one elbow for a week and left the other to hang out in cracked city. The results from one week of use on my elbow is astonishing. The elbow that had a dab of cream on it every day is soft, crack-free, bump-free and smooth. The non-treated elbow is bumpy, dark and crusty. They’re both still hairy but until I did this experiment, I didn’t even realize that I had hair on my elbows. Ah, the joys of being of South Asian descent 🙂

Speaking of hair, I used the bath cupcake to moisten my skin in the shower. The natural o
il from the base of the cupcake combined with the moistening cream of the ‘icing’ coat the skin beautifully, water beads up on it and you’re left with touchable soft skin. Because these products are all natural, I decided to try the cupcake in my hair. I ran it down the length of my locks and left it in overnight. The next morning when I washed my hair, it was softer, bouncier and had a beautiful sheen. I can’t stop touching it. I’ve said that before, but about other things… 🙂


So it’s summer time and you’ve got a normal body. Great! That may mean that there is a good chance that when you where a skirt or short shorts, your thighs rub together for what I refer to as “chub rub”. Anyone with fleshy thighs will know that this can be painful and annoying. I tried this cream, applying it to the fleshier inside of the thighs, to see if it would alleviate the issue and sure enough – it did! The friction causes the oils to release a light coconut scent from between your legs, which is decidedly better than sparks or the smell of charred skin 😉

Silky stems

You know that scene in the movie where someone is running their hands up what appears to be a soft pair of smooth and lovely legs? I don’t know about you, but most women of South Asian and Middle Eastern descent may concur that only a few hours after I’ve shaved, my legs have five-o’clock shadow. This cream makes my skin feel soft and supple. Not to mention it gives your legs a healthy glow!

Hand it to the hand job

I remember, now years and years ago, when I first came home with all my sex products after a week of training, I told my boyfriend “Lamby” at the time, that we could play with whatever I had in my sample bag. He took out product after product, grumpily read the ingredient list and numerous times repeated, “Ain’t no way I’m putting this chemical crap on my dick.” Though I could understand where he was coming from, it still saddened me that we wouldn’t be able to play with the products, and in turn, with each other.

Wicked Wanda’s Raw Sex whipped butter is completely natural so naturally I was excited to try it on a much more willing partner – (it is of course all under the guise of research of course) – and this time, with much happier results.

The cream is a wonderful mixture of oils whipped into a mousse-like consistency that makes it moist and slick without even a hint of greasiness. It doesn’t have the gumminess that lubricants have and I wasn’t at all worried about spilling it either. The cream is easty to take out of the little mason jar it comes in with no fear that it will stain your sheets. Trust me, that’s a bonus if you want to avoid having to explain to your cleaners what certain stains may be on your bedspread. The cream was precisely the right amount of slipperiness for the perfect hand job and need I say, it left my hands buttery soft as well.

Hide and go sleek

And lastly, I’d recommend this cream to play one of my favourite sexy games – ‘Find That Spot’. Put the cream on one spot on your body and instruct your partner to find it using only their nose or tongue. In this game, if your partner finds the spot in under five minutes, you agree to take out the recycling for one week (or whatever other household task you may not enjoy doing). If your partner can’t find it, they take out the recycling for one week. Spoiler alert – the first time you play, all the fun is in the search. The feeling of someone’s hot breath against every inch of your skin is an exercise in foreplay that is well worth the time . You may even find spots on the canvas of your being that are highly erotic to you that you would never have discovered without the game. You may also choose to be diabolical and not put any of the cream on which keeps the hunt going indefinitely and delectably. Of course in fairness, you will agree to take out the recycling that week. 🙂


Though the products are all natural, they are not recommended for use in penetrative sex. I’d use these creams for sensual exploration and for the preservation of the biggest sex organ you have – your skin.

I love this line. I love that it’s natural, eco-friendly, preservative-free and locally made.

This product easily gets a 5/5 samosa rating and I’m only getting started!

Tortilla we meet again…(sugar-free!)

My beloved loves making fajitas. He just loves them. So often we have purchased store bought tortilla shells and he’s eaten them quite happily. Well, one fine day he asked me if we had any tortilla shells left from the last time he ate them and I said, “Yes, but that was two weeks ago.”

I went to check on them to see how badly they had rotted and to my shock and disgust, they still looked the same as they did the day I bought them. If cockroaches can survive a nuclear holocaust, then I think they will take over the planet by surviving on store bought tortilla shells. I admit, I had never looked at the ingredient list before because fajitas aren’t really my thing but after reading  the list of unpronounceable ingredients, I realized there were mysterious things keeping the tortillas from going bad. Mysterious things I didn’t trust.

I looked up the ingredients for home-made tortilla shells and happily found many that are sugar-free so I decided to make them from scratch.


And so we begin…

In a stainless steel bowl I added 1 3/4 cups flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp baking powder, 3 Tbsp olive oil and 1/2 cup of water. I kneaded the dough into a ball until the consistency was a squishy delightful blob.

I covered it and let it sit for fifteen minutes.

When I uncovered it, I found it had shaped itself into a giant “F-U” to the chemical food industry…


Art is in the eye of the beholder

Okay, I did that 🙂 And I have to admit, it was the funnest part.

Then I shaped the dough into smaller balls to get them ready for the frying pan.

So the next thing I did was roll out the dough. You want to get it as thin as possible. The kind of thin that makes you want to plaster the dough on your face and run around playing out scenes from “The Silence of the Lambs”. Then throw it on the frying pan WITHOUT OIL and let it cook over medium-high heat. *make sure the pan is heated before you put down the first tortilla.

I use the Curtis Stone frying pan which is the BEST THING I HAVE EVER BOUGHT FOR THE KITCHEN! It doesn’t burn anything. ANYTHING!! And it cooks evenly right to the edge. It’s huge, it’s lovely and I get a lady boner every time I use it. Marry Me, Curtis Stone. I will make you tortillas.


There’s no chance a single one of the tortillas was going to come out perfectly round. No chance at all.

They blow up all nice and weird like. This one in particular looks like something out of Star Wars…


Luke, I am your flour father

I fried them all up (fry seems like the wrong word here since there was no oil used) and near the end, my beloved tells me, “Gee, those would be even better with cheese in them.” He’s a hard core carnivore with a taste for the richer, cholesterol clogging parts of the palate, so I decided to finely grate some cheese and knead it into the last two tortillas for him.

All in all, it took about an hour to make these and it was totally worth the effort. No more store bought tortillas for us.

Knead dough. Shape it into whatever phallic thing want. Divide into small balls cause that’s fun too. Roll out dough to a very thin consistency on very, very lightly floured surface. Heat frying pan to medium-high heat. Place tortilla shell on frying pan. Flip after a minute or so. Cook on both sides. Eat it. It’s delicious.

What a Wonderful Word

A few days ago, when talking to one of my significantly younger friends, it struck me how different the meaning of certain words are now that I’m nearing 50 years of age. At 23, her idea of what it means to “party” is remarkably different from mine. It’s not that I didn’t once share her enthusiasm for a late night out – it’s just that now, I need a nap first before I can even contemplate staying up till 11pm.

As a writer, I thought it would be a fun experiment to examine a few words and demonstrate the difference in the meaning behind them – from when I was in my 20’s, then my 30’s and now in my 40’s.

What a wonderful word indeed… 🙂

Sugar-free me – the final week!

I did it! I went three weeks without any refined sugar in my diet. And the end result…?


I feel better, I’m sleeping better and I’ve lost 7 pounds and two inches off my waist. All of these bonuses aside, the best part of this cleanse has been the fact that my memory is restoring. Without the refined sugar to addle my brain I have less issue recalling numbers, remembering where I put things like car keys, important papers, boyfriends… 😛

Many people have written to me to ask me how I did it so I’ve compiled a list below of pointers that worked for me and helped to keep me on track.

Give it up, honey. All of it.

When you say you’re going to go sugar-free that means ALL refined sugar has to go. I read the label on everything I ate which brought me to the appalling understanding that sugar is hidden in virtually every place you can think of and where you may least suspect to find it. This meant no more ‘lazy’ cooking nights. If I wanted to eat something, I had to make it from scratch myself which takes more time but the end result is exponentially  more satisfying, greater and packed with health benefits. Don’t get me wrong, if I can sell enough books to warrant a personal chef, I’d do it. Especially if her name was Candi.

Buddy, can you spare a square…of sugar.

What made my daily battles with the granulated gremlin easier was the fact that I have a loving partner who completely supports me. He patiently waded through the rough patches when I lost my temper at every box of food in our cupboard, railed against big name brands that hid sugar in the form of dextrose, fructose and glucose and thrashed most unsexily (it’s my word) the first ten days when the need to feed the addiction was at its worst. If your partner isn’t on the same page as you (and I’ve said this often in my presentations), it’s so much harder to go the distance. So if you’re coupled with someone who isn’t willing to cleanse with you, find a buddy who will. Having someone you’re accountable to who can also pick you up when you’re ready to give in, is key!

Who let the hormones out?

Ladies, some of you will really understand this. I found the wisest thing I did when starting this cleanse was to do it when I knew my hormones were the least likely to get the better of me. That is, if I had decided to rid myself of sugar the week before my period started, there would have been a few people hospitalized and some very unnecessary road rage exhibited. Because I started the cleanse at the low-end of my hormonal cycle, I was able to fight only the addiction and not the pre-menstral monster within as well. Check the calendar…then cleanse when it’s wise.

Accept no substitutes, rubber cheques or rubber chickens

The inclination when removing one thing from your life is to find a substitute for it elsewhere. Like that time I called the cable company to cancel my service because I was watching too much television and told the girl on the phone, “I need to give up TV so I can write the greatest book of all time.” After she tried to sell me on other cable packages, three days without TV later, I merely found other ways to watch my favourite shows.

If you replace the sugar with “sugar-free substitutes” that are made with chemicals you are only swapping out one drug for another. Now, I did allow myself to eat fresh fruit when cravings hit, which I can admit was ZERO comfort the first week I was sugar-free but after the ten day mark, richer in bliss than I expected. I also discovered that an apple doused with lemon juice is as sweet as any candle apple I’ve ever eaten. Your taste buds will adapt but they need time to recover from the tongue to brain instant gratification they know as their only truth. Once you get past this, all food takes on a more sumptuous flavour. Except turnips. No one can save turnips.

Mindful Mindlessness

One of the most important things I tried to practice with this cleanse is to stop and ask myself WHY do you want to eat that cupcake/chocolate/candy/cakeslice/popsicle/icecream bar? I can safely say that only 10% of the time, hunger was the culprit but the majority of the time, wanting to eat something sweet was a reaction to either a) a habit my tongue had formed, b) a means to fill an emotional void or c) a means to fill an emotional void. Yes, I know I repeated b) and c) but it was alarmingly clear to me that most of the time, I craved something as a means of ‘eating my feelings’, mindlessly stuffing down emotions with sugary snacks. When I stopped to analyze the real reason I wanted to satisfy the craving and got to the psychological core of what motivated it, the craving itself would pass. And by then, the ice cream truck was more than five blocks away so the point was moot. Kidding!

Taste it, chew it, lick it. Sounds like my dating life…

The other bonus feature of this cleanse was that with the removal of sugar from my diet, and the value level of everything else I eat going up as a result, I savoured my food more than ever before. This brought a heightened awareness to what I was eating. When you really stop to enjoy your food without distraction, a wealth of new flavours explodes in your mouth. And as a sex writer, mouth explosions can be quite a sexy experience 😉 All that to say, that really involving your brain and your senses in the act of eating adds two new guests to the table that will superbly enhance the experience for you. I’ve read that increased saliva helps in the breakdown of foods as they pass through your body. You can accomplish this by staring at a picture of Jeffrey Dean Morgan while you eat or by really allowing your body to function as it was intended when you’re chowing down on your food.

If you’re going to give it a go, I want you to know that I am behind you 100% and I wish you loads of luck! The benefits of going sugar-free for me have included better sleep, weight loss, less tummy bloating, better memory recall, an overall feeling of ‘lightness’ and well-being, increased enjoyment of food flavours and an even greater gratitude for the abundance of food I am blessed to have in my life.

By virtue of the fact that sugar is in hidden in so many places, I realize that sticking to this cleanse can be very difficult. I think the important thing is to get past the three week mark so you will fully know that you are somewhere beyond the point of addiction. You will then be able to assess how you feel. For me, going back to feeling sluggish, tired and emotionally unstable isn’t an option. I plan to keep sugar at bay, save it only for a very special treat (like wedding cake!) and do my best to live life in balance, enjoying the things in life that are truly sweet like family, friends and a partner that would give up Skittles and M&M cookies for you.

Sugarfreeme week three



Sugar-free me…week two!

With week one firmly under my buckled belt, I figured week two would be a bit easier. Not the case. 

For some reason, this week, I found myself inexplicably filled with rage.

Now, I’m not (usually) one to go about citing conspiracy theories, but I can’t help but feel the refined sugar industry has some kind of hand in keeping the masses addicted and dependent on their product because I found sugar listed among the ingredients of foods I least suspected would need it. The fact that some of the things I have enjoyed for years contained high amounts of sugar, fructose-glucose or corn syrup was alarming and truthfully, a bit unsettling.

I find it utterly frustrating that if I want to eat healthier foods, I’m going to need to prepare everything at home myself. While I have nothing against living a natural lifestyle, I can’t see myself preparing everything from scratch. What’s next? Churning my own butter on the front porch? I don’t have a porch or a pilgrim costume so that’s out. I’ve tried cooking with just an apron on to bring ‘sexy’ to my kitchen escapades but the splatter from oil leaves the task far less erotic than you can imagine.

This week I’m struggling with finding the balance of knowing that home prepared foods are better for me and that if I want to feel better, live better and be better, I need to stop whining and just carve out the time to make things myself. Because I do know that the benefits will propel me to keep at it.

In these last two weeks, my body has undergone a strange, albeit subtle at this point, change. I feel lighter.I’m sleeping even better and without the sugar boost before bedtime (which was my dirty and delicious habit for years), I fall asleep so much faster.

I’ve also noticed that the joint pain I was feeling has started to leave my knuckles. I had been waking up with such terrible stiffness in my fingers that for almost an hour, it was impossible to grip anything. This was starting to panic me as there are so many hand jobs I do on a daily basis for which I need nimble fingers. Wait. That came out wrong. 😀

But you know what I mean!

And I am happy to report that my belt buckle is now on the very last hole. Something I haven’t enjoyed for a few years. I did give in and weigh myself for those who were asking, and I can report that I’m down five pounds these last two weeks. Might account for the feeling of ‘lightness’. That, or the air-cupcakes I mime myself eating are actually filling me with real air 🙂

My observations for week two are below. With sincere apologies to the Doughboy I popped my fist into, I move onward to week three, a little more peacefully I hope… 🙂

Sugar-free me…week one!

After having the most insanely perfect piece of chocolate mousse cake on Mother’s Day, I realized I’ve become addicted to the high that sugar brings. I’ve done sugar-free cleanses before and considering how much of the ‘other’ white drug (crack is white, right?), I decided it was time to give my body a break and rid it of the addiction. So on Monday May 10th, I posted on my Facebook page that I was going to go sugar-free for three weeks. (Three weeks is how long it takes to break a habit and know you’re past the hard part).

The only reason I posted it on Facebook was to force myself to commit to it. I had no idea so many people would be inspired by my attempt to rid myself of the sweet devil and how many more would share their stories of success with me.

So off I went to start the cleanse and not twenty minutes later, the cravings started up. Here’s a snapshot of that first week:

Sugarfreeme week one

This entire week I realized I haven’t been this obsessed with what goes in my mouth since the days when I was single 🙂

And though it really is too early to notice the benefits, I will say that stopping to think about why I am craving sugar has helped me a great deal in staying the course. Often my motivations aren’t hunger, they are emotional (surprise, surprise) so when I take a step back, it’s not as difficult to resist the urge and move past the craving.

After week one, as far as health benefits go, I can say that I am already starting to sleep a bit better. While I am not one to weigh myself, I was happy to notice a hoodie that I haven’t been able to zip up for months closed with only minimal grunting and sucking in of gut. So that’s something!

I’d raise a glass to completing week one but the only thing I want to drink right now is Kool-Aid followed by the chocolate malt balls I refrained from assaulting in Bulk Barn.
